1. State Ideology- Pancasila

The term Pancasila is derived from Sanskrit. Panca meaning five and Sila  meaning Precepts/Values. And In order to understand the Ideology of Pancasila we also have to understand the Garuda Pancasila symbol, with the 5 values.There are some who argue that the Pancasila is no longer relevant but Indonesia still applies the Pancasila.Particularly with regard to the law. As it has been Ingrained into the constitution of Indonesia.

The Pancasila holds in it the values of the Indonesian People and their interest by acknowledging the belief of one almighty God, a just and civilized humanity, the unity of Indonesia, and social justice. 

Hence the five chapters in the Pancasila is as follows:

1. Belief in God Almighty  
2. Fair and Civilized Humanity 
3. Unity of Indonesia 
4. Democracy guided by the inner wisdom of the Consultative / Representative 
5. Social Justice For All People Indonesia 

Hence all the problems faced by this nation must be resolved by the Law of Pancasila. Where there is a legal system of Pancasila it  is consistent with the theory lawrence friedman:

1. Substantive - Legal Postive
2. Structure - Institutional Structure
3. Culture -  the ideals of the community.

There are is as thus in addition to the constitution it is interesting about the need and the postiion of legal existence of Pancasila.It is yet to be researched and conclude the consideration given to the  Pancasila in the drafting of laws and  the Indonesina legal system. This will be discussed below.
